About Direct-to-Wine-Trade Sales
Trade accounts (restaurants, markets, bottle shops, etc.) may purchase Edenvale Wines on-line direct from our winery to your licensed premises. (subject to the laws and regulations in your area).
Direct-to-trade, winery self-distribution and winery-to-trade are all terms that refer to the sale of wine directly from a winery to a wine merchant or restaurant. Most states allow wineries to self-distribute their wines to trade accounts in their state, and a growing number of states allow out-of-state wineries to sell direct-to-trade.
Any wine trade account that is licensed to purchase wine for resale can register and participate in this marketplace. There is no cost to register. Registered trade accounts can search for wines to purchase and can buy wine online. Depending on the trade account’s location, order fulfillment may occur directly from the winery, or through a fulfillment center or distributor.
